Brazil’s Daniel Santos (12-2) has quietly put together a strong run since losing his UFC debut to Julio Arce in 2022. Since then, he’s rattled off three straight wins over John Castañeda, Johnny Muñoz Jr., and most recently Jeong Yeong Lee. Fighting out of the famed Chute Boxe gym — home to stars like Charles Oliveira — Santos embodies the gym’s blend of aggressive Muay Thai and elite BJJ.
Known for his all-action style, Santos is relentless on the feet and not afraid to mix in takedowns when needed. However, he can be hit clean, which adds jeopardy against sharp strikers.

South Korea’s Joo Sang Yoo (9-0) made a huge impact in his UFC debut, starching Jeka Saragih with a lightning-fast first-round knockout. The 31-year-old is a dynamic striker with excellent speed and skill — particularly in his counter-punching.
