Pisa preview: Rock-bottom Pisa

After a difficult time of it after their promotion to Serie A last season, Pisa now begin the weekend's round of fixtures sitting nine points adrift of safety with eight games to go after just two victories so far this season.

They did earn a win a few weeks ago against Cagliari before a 5-0 hammering at the hands of Como, with little improvement since the appointment of Oscar Hiljemark in early-February.

Torino preview: Struggling Torino

Torino head into the run-in sitting six points clear of the danger zone with an inconsistent campaign that has shown signs of major improvement with the management of former Benevento boss Roberto D'Aversa.

Known for his attacking style of football, Torino have become much more enjoyable to watch. They were most recently beaten 3-2 by Massimiliano Allegri's AC Milan at San Siro a couple of weeks ago.

Pisa team news: Durosinmi suspended

Versatile attacker Rafiu Durosinmi is missing through suspension for Pisa this weekend, while the likes of Marius Marin and Juan Cuadrado remain injury doubts.

Predicted XI (3-4-2-1): Nicolas; Caracciolo, Raul Albiol, Canestrelli; Loyola, Hojholt, Akinsanmiro, Angori; Leris, Tramoni; Moreo

Unavailable: Durosinmi (Suspended)

Questionable: Scuffet (Injured), Denoon (Injured), Vural (Injured), Marin (Injured), Juan Cuadrado (Injured)

Torino team news: Nothing fresh

There are no fresh injury concerns or suspension issues for this one as versatile attacking midfielder Zakaria Aboukhlal works his way back to full fitness from a knee injury.

Predicted XI (3-5-2): Paleari; Saul Coco, Ismajli, Ebosse; Pedersen, Vlasic, Prati, Gineitis, Rafa Obrador; Giovanni Simeone, Duvan Zapata

Unavailable:

Questionable: Aboukhlal (Injured)

Pisa vs Torino prediction

Six of Torino's last eight matches have featured both teams scoring and those eight games have consisted of a combined total of 28 goals. Pisa, with little to play for or worry too much about in the relegation battle that is all but over, may become a bit more fun to watch in the final few weeks and so both teams scoring, albeit with Torino coming out on top, would appear a decent bet for this one.

Pisa vs Torino tip: Torino to win & both teams to score
