Lionel Messi is in good form for both club and country at the moment. He led the Floridians to a 3-2 win over New York City a couple of weeks ago as Inter Miami try to recover from a shaky start to the season that has seen them knocked out of the CONCACAF Champions Cup by Nashville, as well as suffering an opening day hammering at the hands of LAFC.
They now face an Austin side that have started with just one win in their opening five matches of the campaign as the Texans shared a goalless draw with the aforementioned LAFC a couple of weeks ago.
That result and performance would suggest Austin can be tough and difficult to play against but Inter Miami, especially in the inaugural match at Miami Freedom Park, should get themselves a victory.
