Corentin Moutet vs Cameron Norrie Prediction

Corentin Moutet was handed a bye in the quarter-finals after Andrey Rublev withdrew from the tournament upon hearing that Novak Djokovic’s withdrawal from the ATP Finals meant he had already qualified for the tournament.

That handed Moutet a bye and a path straight into the semi-finals so the 25-year-old Frenchman has only had to win two matches to reach this stage. On Tuesday, he beat Jan-Lennard Struff in three sets but he will be well-rested coming into this one.

He may even be out of rhythm potentially after no game for three days so it will be interesting to see how he starts this match.

He meets Cam Norrie who has had to graft his way to through three rounds. The Brit has won all three matches in three sets and his latest win came on Thursday against talented Belgian Zizou Bergs.

Another win will only boost his confidence further and he seems to have some really good momentum right now. We questioned whether he could keep it going but he managed to do so. Now he meets Moutet who will be fresh but perhaps will not have that sharpness that Norrie has.

The Brit will need a fast start and try to get this done quickly. The longer it goes, it may favour the fresher of the two players. Our preference is marginally with Norrie but with no real confidence. Consider set betting however and over 21.5 games is our preferred play.

Corentin Moutet vs Cameron Norrie Tip: Over 21.5 games
