Stade Brest can be quite entertaining to watch as they now take on an in-form Stade Rennais side to Stade Francis-le Ble on Saturday afternoon this weekend.

Kick-off date/time:

How to watch online: UK – Ligue 1+ / US – beIN Sports Connect

Brest preview: Solid Brest

Former Sunderland player Eric Roy is overseeing a Brest side that have been fun to watch for the neutral and are trying to push themselves back onto the top-half of Ligue 1 in the run in after the international break.

The hosts did head into the break, though, on the back of back-to-back losses; suffering a 3-0 loss to Monaco before a comfortable 2-0 defeat to a badly struggling Auxerre side at Stade de l'Abbe Deschamps in their most recent outing.

Rennes preview: Impressive Rennes

Ever since the appointment of former Lens and Nice boss Franck Haise, Stade Rennais have been very impressive as they try and push their way back into the top six and earn European qualification from Ligue 1 once again.

Rennes did stutter just before the break, though, with a 2-1 defeat at home to Lille before a goalless draw with rock-bottom and relegation-bound Metz, again at Roazhon Park, a couple of weeks ago.

Brest vs Rennes prediction

Rennes have collected just a point from their last two games and they sit just outside of the top six. They face a Brest side that can be quite chaotic and a fun watch. Rennes would have to remain firm favourites here, but it is unlikely to be too straightforward with quite a fun watch for the neutral to be expected here.

Brest vs Rennes tip: Rennes to win & both teams to score
