Vestri vs RFS prediction
Vestri finished second-from-bottom in the Icelandic top-flight in 2025, relegated to the second-tier despite winning the Icelandic Cup. They became the first team outside of Iceland’s top-flight to be in UEFA competition, losing to Qarabag in the UEFA Europa League.
They are also on the verge of being eliminated from the UEFA Europa Conference League, too, having been hammered 4-1 by RFS in the first-leg of this UECL second qualifying round tie in the Latvian capital city last week.
RFS are leading the Latvian Higher League and are expected to make it to the league phase of this competition for a third successive season, even if they are tempted to heavily rotate in this second-leg.
