Vancouver Whitecaps vs LAFC prediction

The Vancouver Whitecaps come into this one on the back of a goalless draw with Minnesota United after they struggled to a 4-3 loss to Cincinnati upon their return from the break in Major League Soccer for FIFA World Cup 2026.

They now face a Los Angeles FC side that begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting just behind the Whitecaps on goal difference but having played a couple of games more. The Californians have returned in impressive fashion, most recently hammered Sporting Kansas City by four goals to nil.

LAFC had also beaten Real Salt Lake and their improved form would suggest they have a good chance of toppling the league leaders and emerging on top, for the time being.

Vancouver Whitecaps vs LAFC tip: Double chance – LAFC to win or draw
