Joselyne Edwards: Panama’s Rising Force at 135lbs
Panama’s Joselyne Edwards enters this bout ranked No. 14 in the women’s bantamweight division, holding a 15–6 professional record and a 6–4 mark in the UFC. After suffering back-to-back decision losses to Ailin Perez and Nora Cornolle, the 29-year-old has bounced back in style with two consecutive finishes—stopping Chelsea Chandler with a first-round KO and submitting Tamires Vidal in the third round before that.

Edwards is a powerful, kick-heavy striker with strong legs. She’s added solid wrestling to her game, using it to keep opponents guessing and to open up striking opportunities. Durable and composed, Edwards has never been knocked out in her career and continues to sharpen her technique with each outing.

Priscila Cachoeira: Raw Power and Rough Edges
Cachoeira, 36, enters with a 13–6 record and a 5–6 run in the UFC. She’s best known for her raw power and reminded fans of it with a devastating first-round KO of Josiane Nunes in her last fight. Before that, she suffered back-to-back submission losses to Jasmine Jasudavicius and Miranda Maverick.

While not the most technical fighter in the division, Cachoeira has legitimate one-punch knockout power. Her wild, brawling style makes her dangerous early, but she’s also faced criticism for poor discipline in the cage, including eye-gouging incidents in past bouts. The Brazilian made her UFC debut with a brutal loss to Valentina Shevchenko and has been inconsistent ever since.

Joselyne Edwards vs Priscila Cachoeira Prediction

Both fighters bring solid UFC experience, but the edge here goes to the younger and fresher Edwards. She’s the more technical fighter in both the striking and grappling departments, and I can see her mixing things up well across three rounds to secure a decision win. Cachoeira has genuine knockout power, but she’ll need to land clean against an opponent who has a five-inch reach advantage and has never been stopped. Edwards should be able to manage the distance, stay composed, and get the job done.

Prediction: Joselyne Edwards by Decision
