Rayanne dos Santos vs Alice Ardelean prediction
Rayanne dos Santos (14-8) has found life in the UFC to be pretty challenging having lost both of her two fights since joining the promotion in December 2023. The former Invicta atomweight champion has fought twice in the Octagon but has been on the wrong end of two split decisions against Talita Alencar and Puja Tomar.
The step up in quality has been evident but the 29-year-old Brazilian can take heart from the fact that she has been competitive and close in both of her fights to date.
She now takes on Romanian Alice Ardelean (9-7) who has had very similar challenges since joining the UFC and she has lost both of her bouts so far. Her first loss came via split decision to Shauna Bannon while she then saw a unanimous decision go against her as she lost to Melissa Martinez last time out.
There is very little to go off for both fighters coming into this bout which is something of a must-win for both women but it is the Brazilian that we prefer on her body of work. Her losses have been extremely narrow and she has plenty of experience. We take more positives from her displays in the Octagon so far and we favour her to get her first win in the promotion on Saturday night.
Prediction: Rayanne dos Santos to win
