Ramiz Brahimaj vs Billy Ray Goff prediction

Ramiz Brahimaj (11-5) is coming off a Performance of the Night win over Mickey Gall at UFC 309 and he will be eager to follow that up here. His first-round knockout win was the first KO win of his professional MMA career after his previous ten wins all came via submission.

It was the perfect response to his unanimous decision loss to Themba Gorimbo in his previous fight and he will be looking for another stoppage win here.

He meets Billy Ray Goff (9-3) who saw his fight with Ko Seok-Hyeon fall through and he will be looking to bounce back from a loss last time out. He suffered a unanimous decision loss at the hands of Trey Waters which followed a victory on his UFC debut in his previous bout.

After coming through Dana White’s Contender Series in August 2022, Goff faced Yusaku Kinoshita in August 2023 and he picked up a first-round TKO. His next bout was against Waters last May where he lost the decision.

He has had one year between bouts for the last three years after being incredibly active prior to that but it does not seem to have overly affected him.

It could well impact him here though as he meets a tough opponent. He will however fancy his chances and it will be interesting to see how the two measure up.

We like Goff in this one against Brahimaj who has shown he is capable of the spectacular but is vulnerable against fighters that can control the Octagon and their opponents. We expect Goff to get his game plan right, and ultimately be too strong for him.

Prediction: Billy Ray Goff to win by decision to KO/TKO
