Kurt Holobaugh vs Jordan Leavitt prediction

Kurt Holobaugh (21-9 with one no contest) is in his third spell in the UFC and 38-year-old is in desperate need of a victory. He lost his one fight in his first spell all the way back in 2013, and then all three fights in his second spell in 2018-19. He made a return in August 2023 and has since gone 2-2 but he has ultimately been found wanting against any decent opponent.

One would think this could very well be the veteran’s final fight in the Octagon unless he can get a victory.

He takes on Jordan Leavitt (11-3) who is 4-3 in the UFC since he got his chance in the Octagon back in December 2020. He has not fought in just over 18 months since his last fight which came against Chase Hooper in November 2023 where he lost by submission. That was his second loss in his last three as he was beaten by Paddy Pimblett prior to that.

There is no disgrace in losing to either of those fighters and ultimately Leavitt has been fighting at a higher level than Holobaugh prior to his enforced absence through injury. Much will depend on whether he can pick up where he left off and shake off any rust but we fancy his chances against the average Holobaugh here.

Prediction: Jordan Leavitt to win
