Mateusz Gamrot vs Ľudovit Klein prediction
Mateusz Gamrot (24-3 with one no contest) is coming off a split decision loss to Dan Hooker and he will be desperate to get back on track at UFC on ESPN 68 at The Apex on Saturday night.
The Polish star suffered just his third loss in 28 professional MMA bouts and it was a narrow one as nine of the 16 media outlets thought he edged that fight on the scorecards.
He now returns to action after ten months out and he will know a win here will catapult him back closer to title shot contention.
Standing in his way is a surging Ludovit Klein (23-4-1) who has won six and drawn one of his last seven bouts. The Slovakian will relish this opportunity against a fellow Eastern European fighter and knows he will likely be ranked in the top 15 if he gets the win here.
Klein has fought some talented fighters in the likes of Ignacio Bahamondes and Thiago Moises but his resume does not contain the same kind of names that Gamrot’s possesses.
Gamrot has fought and beaten some elite fighters included the number one ranked Arman Tsarukyan and Rafael Fiziev.
His body of work is the more impressive of the two and we expect him to show his class here and have too much for Klein.
Prediction: Mateusz Gamrot to win
