The New York Red Bulls begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting just outside of the top seven and the play-off places. NYRB have returned to action in woeful form with a 3-1 loss to a poor Philadelphia Union side and then a 2-0 loss at home to Charlotte.
Since returning from the break for FIFA World Cup 2026 and making the signing of Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid, Orlando City have won two from two with a 4-0 hammering of the San Jose Earthquakes and then a 1-0 win against Eastern Conference leaders, Nashville.
NYRB do have home advantage here but they have struggled since the restart and Orlando will fancy themselves to continue their excellent form.
