Minnesota United vs San Diego prediction

Minnesota United do begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting tucked inside the top nine and the play-off places. They shared a goalless draw with Vancouver Whitecaps last week after returning to action with a 2-1 defeat to Sporting Kansas City.

San Diego, who won the MLS Cup in their first ever season as a franchise in 2025, have struggled this time around with just five victories in 17 matches. The visitors most recently did earn themselves a hard-fought 1-0 win against Dallas last weekend.

San Diego have lacked a cutting edge for much of this campaign and Minnesota are typically low-scoring and so backing an uneventful encounter at Allianz Field would seem a reasonable bet.

Minnesota United vs San Diego tip: Under 2.5 goals
