Kevin Holland vs Daniel Rodriguez prediction
Kevin Holland (28-13 with one no contest) is back for what is remarkably his fourth fight of 2025 already as the veteran continues to defy logic. After back-to-back wins over Gunnar Nelson and Vicente Luque, Holland is back just six weeks since that Performance of the Night display against Luque where he submitted him 63 seconds into the second round.
Holland is thriving right now and is capitalising on his ability to be incredibly exciting to watch – win or lose – and avoid injuries.
He is handed yet another tough assignment as he faces the talented Daniel Rodriguez (19-5) who is coming off successive wins himself.
He edged a split decision against Alex Morono last October and then TKO’d Santiago Ponzinibbio just ten weeks ago in Iowa. Those wins halted a three-fight skid where he lost to Neil Magny, Ian Machado Garry and then Kelvin Gastelum.
These recent performances are a fair reflection of Rodriguez’s status in the division. He has struggled against the elite in the division but is competitive against those just below that level.
Holland has shown he can mix it against the better fighters and is arguably just ahead of Rodriguez. We expect him to continue this remarkable run and pick up another win.
Prediction: Kevin Holland to win
