Derry City vs Rijeka prediction

The first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round tie saw Rijeka edge to a slender 1-0 victory in Croatia last week, courtesy of a 52nd minute winner scored by Croatia international attacking midfielder Toni Fruk.

Derry’s squad, chock full of recognisable players, were competitive in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League as they succumbed to a 5-3 loss to CSKA Sofia on aggregate, while Rijeka have won just two of their last 12 matches away from home in UEFA competition.

Rijeka do not need to win this game to progress but they may need to score against a Derry side that will likely come at them at Brandywell Stadium.

Derry City vs Rijeka tip: Both teams to score
