Cincinnati vs San Jose Earthquakes prediction

Cincinnati begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting tucked inside the top seven and the play-off places. They most recently suffered a 2-1 loss to the Columbus Crew after they had beaten current Western Conference leaders the Vancouver Whitecaps by four goals to three.

The San Jose Earthquakes are punching high up in the Western Conference themselves as they sit third in the table in behind Vancouver and LAFC but only on goal difference. They have struggled since the return to action after FIFA World Cup 2026 with a 4-0 loss at home to Orlando City before a 1-1 draw with Los Angeles Galaxy.

The Quakes were in a decent spot before the restart but there will now be a bit of concern and Cincinnati, as they did against Vancouver, will fancy themselves with home advantage to beat one of the big guns from the other division.

Cincinnati vs San Jose Earthquakes tip: Cincinnati to win & both teams to score
