Shamrock Rovers vs Ararat-Armenia prediction

Ararat-Armenia defeated Shamrock Rovers by two goals to nil in the first-leg of this UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie at the Vazgen Sarsgyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan, courtesy of second half goals scored by Sandro Lima and Zidane Banjaqui.

The Shamrock Rovers will take heart from the fact they lost the first-leg of their first qualifying round tie by the same scoreline in Malta against Floriana, before winning the second-leg by five goals to one. Ararat have only ever made it past this stage of a UEFA competition twice in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 season, reaching the play-off stages in those UEFA Europa League campaigns.

Shamrock Rovers will fancy themselves to come out on top with their home advantage in Dublin, with Ararat simply seeking to avoid Floriana’s capitulation.

Shamrock Rovers vs Ararat-Armenia tip: Double chance – Shamrock Rovers to win or draw
