  • Qatar have won nine of their last ten World Cup qualifying matches in Qatar (L1). *Includes the 2022 qualifiers which Qatar participated in as they were also qualifying matches for the AFC Asian Cup.
  • Korea DPR are without a win in their last six World Cup qualifying matches (D2 L4).

Qatar vs North Korea Prediction

The Qatari national team, under the management of former Espanyol manager Luis Garcia, who had become their assistant coach to Tintin Marquez last year, have been entertaining to watch in qualifying as they take on a poor North Korea side at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.

The Qataris’ six matches in the third round of AFC qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup have consisted of 27 goals with ten scored and 17 conceded as they sit tucked inside the top four ahead of the seventh match day. They most recently suffered a 5-0 annihilation at the hands of the United Arab Emirates during the November international break.

North Korea, on other hand, are on the verge of having their qualification campaign mathematically ended as they sit rock-bottom in Group A with two draws and four defeats in their six matches. The North Koreans most recently suffered a 1-0 loss to Uzbekistan before playing a few friendlies at the start of 2025.

Qatar haven’t been overly convincing throughout this campaign but they are trying to play a progressive style of football and are firm favourites for this one with their home advantage.
