Levski Sofia vs AEK Athens prediction

Having won the Bulgarian title for the first time since 2009 last season, Levski returned to UEFA Champions League qualification in the first qualifying round. Unbeaten in six matches with four victories and two draws, Levski have gone past Borac Banja Luka, Universitatea Craiova and then Kairat Almaty to reach this stage.

AEK Athens were surprise Greek Super League winners last year ahead of the likes of Olympiacos, Panathinaikos and PAOK Salonika. AEK also performed well by balancing their domestic success with a run to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League, losing to eventual runners’ up Rayo Vallecano.

AEK Athens are a tough test for Levski but the Bulgarians have won three from three without conceding in Sofia in this competition this summer and so backing them again would appear a decent value bet.

Levski Sofia vs AEK Athens tip: Double chance – Levski Sofia to win or draw
