In the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League earlier this month, Dinamo Zagreb hammered Lithuanian champions Kauno Zalgiris by seven goals to one on aggregate. Dinamo did reach the league phase of the UEFA Champions League league phase in the 2024-25 campaign.
Viking were surprise Norwegian Eliteserien champions in 2025, pipping giants such as Bodo/Glimt and Molde to the title. They haven’t made it to the league or group phase of UEFA competition since the group stages of the UEFA Cup in the 2005-06 season.
