Jurij Rodionov vs Nikoloz Basilashvili prediction

Jurij Rodionov was handed a wild card to compete at the Vienna Open. He has two tour-level wins this season, which included a victory in the first-round of the US Open. The 29-year-old has reached three finals on the Challenger Tour, but he remains well outside the top 100 of the world rankings. 

He faces Nikoloz Basilashvili in round one. The Georgian continued his excellent run of form at the Almaty Open, advancing to his first final on the ATP Tour since February 2022, despite only entering the main draw as a qualifier. Basilashvili took the first set against former world number one Daniil Medvedev, before losing in three. He also advanced to the semi-finals in Chengdu at the end of last month. 

These two faced each other for the first time at the Tiriac Open in Bucharest this year, with Basilashvili winning in three sets. He is performing strongly at the moment, and will hope to carry on the momentum with a win here.
