Manchester City’s maverick attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki is not the only joker in Didier Deschamps’ pack but, in a squad that boasts some of the best talent in the world, Cherki could well claim to be the most technically talented of the lot. His special abilities were on show in the Premier League this season, particularly in the second half of the campaign, as Pep Guardiola came to trust the former Olympique Lyonnais man in the starting eleven.
