The son of FIFA World Cup 1998 winner Lilian Thuram, Marcus Thuram heads into this summer with a very good chance of being the starting striker for Didier Deschamps if Deschamps opts to split Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele to the wings. Thuram, formerly of Borussia Monchengladbach, was excellent in helping Internazionale win the 2023/24 Serie A title and then reach the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League final. The 28-year-old Italy-born striker has endured a mixed season due to injuries but still hit double figures for goals as the Nerazzurri won another Scudetto.
