Perhaps the most controversial call that Carlo Ancelotti made in his 26-man squad was the inclusion of the legendary Neymar. The former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain man endured a difficult couple of years due to injury before returning to the club where he started out, Santos. Neymar has been much-improved and has rediscovered some of his simply majestic touch back down in Brazil’s Serie A but he has become injury prone and the debatable selection of Brazil’s all-time top scorer hasn’t reaped immediate rewards with the 34-year-old due to miss the start of the tournament due to injury.
