Having come through the academy at Fluminense, Luiz Henrique spent two seasons at the Maracana before moving to Europe in 2022 and spending a couple of seasons at Real Betis in La Liga. Under Manuel Pellegrini, he found himself in and out of the side quite often before returning to Brazil and joining Botafogo. At Botafogo, he re-established himself as an impressive talent once more and returned to Europe in January 2025, joining Russian giants Zenit Saint-Petersburg, helping them win the Russian Premier League in the 2025/26 season. The winger is one of two Zenit players in the Brazil squad, alongside Douglas Santos.
