Much talked about ahead of a move to Real Madrid from Palmeiras in the summer of 2024 at the age of just 17, a move that had been agreed 18 months prior, Endrick has found himself on the periphery at the Bernabeu with a bit of chaos at the club, both on and off the pitch, as well as tough competition for places. He did manage to discover some excellent form on loan at Olympique Lyonnais in the second half of this season. In his third and fourth caps for Brazil, just a few days apart in March 2024, he scored crucial goals in friendlies at Wembley Stadium against England and then at the Bernabeu against Spain. It hasn’t gone according to plan since then but careers that begin like that shouldn’t stall for too long.
