Now back in MLS for a second spell at New England Revolution after having spent three seasons playing in the English Premier League between 2022 and 2025, Turner represents the most experienced option in goal for Mauricio Pochettino. After impressing at New England initially, where he won the MLS Goalkeeper of the Year award in 2001, Turner was signed by Arsenal before later going on to join Nottingham Forest, making 17 appearances for them. A CONCACAF Gold Cup and two-time CONCACAF Nations League Golden Glove winner with the USMNT, Turner returned to MLS in August 2025, prioritising minutes with FIFA World Cup 2026 in mind.
