Player Profile
A towering centre-back, Trusty has forged an impressive career so far out in the United Kingdom. Whilst he failed to make an impact at Arsenal, not making a single appearance for the side who signed him from Colorado Rapids, Trusty has since played in the Premier League for Sheffield United and more recently spent the last two seasons at Celtic, winning the Scottish Premiership on both occasions. It’s unlikely that Trusty starts for USA at FIFA World Cup 2026 given the competition in defence and the fact that he was on the bench for both of their warm-up friendlies against Germany and Senegal respectively.
