One of the most notable names amid this USMNT squad, winger Gio Reyna was signed at a young age from New York City FC by Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund and went on to make over 100 appearances in all competitions for the German giants. Son of former USA captain Claudio Reyna, Gio has won the CONCACAF Nations League three times with the national team and was named Player of the Tournament in the 2023-24 edition. Whilst Reyna has yet to really break out and fulfil the sky high expectations placed on him from a young age, a stage like FIFA World Cup 2026 could be where we see Reyna make his long-awaited breakout.
