Full-back Joe Scally has been capped over 25 times by the USMNT and offers a versatile option for Mauricio Pochettino. Part of the USA squads that won both the 2022-23 and 2023-24 CONCACAF Nations League, Scally has spent the last five seasons in the German Bundesliga at Borussia Monchengladbach, making 30 appearances or more in all competitions in all five of those seasons. The likelihood is that Scally will be battling Alex Freeman for the starting right-back role if Pochettino opts to deploy Sergino Dest further up the field.
