In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round tie, Lugano earned themselves a slender 1-0 victory at the Cornaredo Stadium in Switzerland with Renato Steffen scoring the only goal of the game in the first half.
Dukagjini are playing in just their second ever European campaign after being beaten by Rijeka at the same stage of this competition back in the 2023-24 campaign. Lugano finished fourth in the Swiss Super League last season.
Lugano are expected to emulate a deeper run into this competition, as they did by reaching the round of 16 in the 2024-25 campaign, but the first-leg has suggested it may not be straightforward in Kosovo.
