In the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round tie, Drita Gjilan shared a 1-1 draw with Floriana at the Centenary Stadium in Ta’ Qali, Malta. Liridon Balaj had given Drita a 94th minute lead before Floriana then equalised a few minutes later, via Bosnian defender Amar Drina.
Kosovan champions Drita reached the knockout play-off stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League. Floriana were, alongside Drita, knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in the first qualifying round.
It wouldn’t be a surprise to see another low-scoring affair in this second-leg but Drita would have to be viewed as favourites, with their home advantage.
