Benjamin Bonzi vs Taylor Fritz prediction

Taylor Fritz has been in outstanding form in recent weeks, and he will be hoping to follow that up in Paris.

Fritz comes into this one after a run to the semi-finals at the Swiss Indoors, which followed a runner-up finish at the Lyon Open the previous week. He is finding form at the back end of the year and ending it strongly, and he will be eager to go well in Paris this week.

He takes on Benjamin Bonzi, who had to come through two rounds of qualifying to reach the main draw, overcoming Tallon Griekspoor in three sets and then Yannick Hanfmann, so he has beaten some quality players to get this far.

Bonzi has only ever won one main-draw match in Paris, back in 2020, and this will be a tough ask for him against the incredibly consistent Fritz. He may have some bright moments, but it is hard to make a case for him causing an upset, and we expect the American to emerge victorious in straight sets.
