Maaya Rajeshwaran Revathi vs Katarzyna Kawa prediction
Maaya Rajeshwaran Revathi returns to the Chennai Open as a wild card, hoping to make an impression in front of her home supporters. The 17-year-old Indian attracted considerable attention during her breakthrough run to the Mumbai WTA 125 semi-finals in 2025, but she is still establishing herself on the professional circuit. Her 2026 results have largely come at ITF level.
Katarzyna Kawa arrives in Chennai following an impressive quarter-final at the Ningbo Open on the WTA Tour last month. The Polish player came through qualifying, before recovering from a set down to defeat Daria Snigur in the opening round. She then produced an excellent performance to defeat former world number four Belinda Bencic, before a battling three set loss to world number one Elena Rybakina in the last eight. Kawa’s recent results underline her ability to compete against significantly higher-ranked opposition.
Kawa has to viewed as the commanding favourite to come out on top.
