Al Shabab vs Al Riyadh prediction

Al Shabab come into this one on the back of a goalless draw with Al Khaleej. That came after they had been knocked out of the King’s Cup of Champions after extra-time by Al Wehda, following a 3-1 loss at home to a strong Al Qadsiah side in their opening game.

Al Riyadh head into their third game of the season still without a point, having succumbed to a 4-2 loss against Al Ettifaq and then a 4-0 hammering at the hands of defending champions Al Nassr a few days ago.

Al Riyadh did manage a win in the cup against Al Zulfi but their poor defensive record in the Pro League thus far, as well as the underwhelming showings from Al Shabab, may well mean both teams scoring is a decent bet as both sides struggle defensively but both have an excellent opportunity to get a much-needed win.

Al Shabab vs Al Riyadh tip: Both teams to score
