Diana Shnaider and Yulia Putintseva will do battle for the second time in as many weeks in Ningbo.

The Russian eased to a 6-2 6-2 win in Wuhan last time out, but does trail 2-1 in her head-to-head with the Kazakhstani.

Sixth seed Shnaider will again be the clear favourite here and she has been very consistent since May.

Putintseva has come alive in the past month after some patchy form, but if Shnaider reproduces the same playbook as Wuhan, she can expect a similar triumph here.
