Daniel Altmaier vs Titouan Droguet prediction

Daniel Altmaier ended a four-match losing run in the first-round of the Shanghai Masters, as he came from a set down to beat Holger Rune. However, his upturn was short-lived as he lost his next match to Ben Shelton. Altmaier’s season began poorly, but his form did pick up, with the highlight being a semi-final run at the Halle Open. That included an impressive win over former world number one Daniil Medvedev.

Nevertheless, his recent form will be a worry, and he could be vulnerable against Titouan Droguet. The 25-year-old is up to a career high ranking of 69 in the world, following Challenger Tour success in St Tropez last month. That was his second title of the season. Furthermore, he impressed indoors earlier this season, following his run to the semi-finals of the Open Occitanie in Montpellier.

Droguet is performing strongly and has already shown how dangerous he can be in these conditions.
