Jaime Faria vs Felix Balshaw prediction

Jaime Faria’s last event was at the Shanghai Masters, where he lost his opening match to Arthur Gea despite winning the first set. The Portuguese has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign and broke inside the top 60 of the world rankings for the first time earlier this month. His most impressive result of the season was a run from qualifying to the round-of-16 at the Cincinnati Open. That included a victory over Ben Shelton.

He plays Felix Balshaw in Lyon. The 20-year-old has recently moved inside the top 200 of the rankings for the first time in his career. He has won four titles this season, including a Challenger event in Manacor. His most recent tournament saw him reach the quarter-finals in Roanne. This will be his second appearance on the ATP Tour in 2026, as he lost in the first-round of the Winston-Salem Open.

Faria has now become an established tour-level player, and he has to be viewed as the favourite to come out on top.
