  • Mozambique have won five of their last seven World Cup qualifying matches (L2). Despite a 5-1 defeat against Algeria in their most recent match in the qualifiers.

Uganda vs Mozambique Prediction

In Group G of CAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Algeria sit at the top-of-the-table with five victories and a draw and a star studded squad. Behind them is Mozambique, on 12 points, as they line up a potential playoff spot. However, both Botswana and the Ugandans sit just three further points behind them, with Guinea then struggling down in fifth on seven points, whilst Somalia have collected just one point.

Uganda come into this one on the back of a 1-0 defeat of the aforementioned Guineans, a few days after Mozambique had beaten them by three goals to one at the Cairo International Stadium in Egypt.

This match is being played at the Mandela National Stadium, which gives Uganda an unusual home advantage, but Mozambique have to remain slight favourites for this one.

Uganda vs Mozambique Tip: Double chance – Mozambique to win or draw
