Uganda vs Algeria prediction

Uganda are, as mentioned, one of the co-hosts and they will hope to continue their overall progress as a football nation that has developed in the last few years. They have qualified for each of the last six of these tournaments, but they have managed just two victories from 18 matches with six successive group stage eliminations.

Algeria, on the other hand, head into the tournament under the management of former Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra. They have an impressive first-team squad and their depth is quite strong, too, so will be expected to be one of the better sides in this summer’s tournament.

Uganda are hosts so will fancy themselves with the nucelus of their strongest squad here, but it is expected to be a low-scoring encounter regardless of the match result.

Uganda vs Algeria tip: Double chance – Uganda to win or draw & under 3.5 goals
