They have scored at least once in each fixture but are yet to keep a clean sheet. Wellington Phoenix, by contrast, are top of the table. They got the better of Melbourne Victory 2-1 and followed that up with a 2-0 win over the Mariners, scoring twice in both of their A-League games so far.
When factoring in the attacking quality within this Newcastle Jets squad and home advantage being on their side, it is hard to see Wellington keeping a clean sheet here. Newcastle's record of scoring in every game, combined with their defensive leaks, points firmly towards them finding the net.
