Arsenal vs Benfica prediction

It has been a tough season for Arsenal so far, particularly in the Women's Super League, where they currently sit sixth. However, under-fire head coach Renee Slegers will hope that Saturday's North London derby win over Tottenham (2-1) acts as the turning point in their campaign.

The Gunners secured a late 1-0 victory over HB Koge on Matchday 1 in the UEFA Women's Champions League, but let a two-goal lead slip against Paris FC in their most recent league phase fixture, which ultimately ended 2-2.

Benfica sit on three points after two games, having beaten Juventus in their league phase opener before a 0-3 loss to Bayern Munich last time out, although they did hold out against the German side until the 74th minute.

Despite not being at their best this season, you still have to fancy Arsenal in this one. There was a clear boost in morale from their weekend victory over Tottenham, and they will carry that into this fixture. We don't believe Benfica will trouble them here, so a home win to nil is on the cards.

Arsenal vs Benfica tip: Arsenal to win to nil
