Torino have discovered some form after the extended international break as they now welcome Como to the Olimpico di Torino in Piedmont on Tuesday.

Kick-off date/time:

Torino preview: In-form Torino

After winning just one of their opening five matches in Serie A before the international break, Torino have now enjoyed three successive victories as they propel themselves into the top half of Serie A ahead of this midweek.

The hosts most recently entertainingly defeated Monza by three goals to two on Friday, with goals being scored by Kian Fitz-Jim, Rafik Belghali and Nikola Vlasic – not needing the usually relied upon goals of Giovanni Simeone and Che Adams.

Como preview: Impressive Como

Cesc Fabregas’ Como backed up their famous 4-1 hammering of Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League by easing to a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Sassuolo at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia with a brace scored by Tasos Douvikas.

That impressive and comfortable victory against I Neroverdi means that Como begin the ninth match day of the 2026-27 Serie A campaign once again sitting tucked inside the top four and the UEFA Champions League spots.

Torino team news: Fresh injuries

Torino have some fresh injury issues for this one as experienced Switzerland international defender Ricardo Rodriguez has picked up a thigh injury with Rolando Mandragora also a doubt for the hosts.

Predicted XI (3-4-1-2): Perri; Saul Coco, Ismajli, Comuzzo; Belghali, Braganca, Fitz-Jim, Cacciamani; Vlasic; Adams, Giovanni Simeone

Unavailable: Franco Israel (Injured), Rodriguez (Injured)

Questionable: Ilkhan (Fitness), Fortini (Fitness), Mandragora (Injured)

Como team news: New issues

Trevoh Chalobah is a new injury issue and he has been joined on the sidelines by Jesus Rodriguez with Assane Diao also unavailable. Mattia Liberali is also a fresh doubt as Moise Kean works his way back to full fitness.

Predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Butez; Couto, Kambwala, Kempf, Kaiky; Ricci, Maximo Perrone; Nico Paz, Da Cunha, Baturina; Douvikas

Unavailable: Chalobah (Injured), Jesus Rodriguez (Injured), Diao (Injured)

Questionable: Liberali (Injured), Kean (Fitness)

Key stats

  • Como have won the last three Serie A meetings by a combined 12-1: 1-0 in April 2025, 5-1 in Turin in November 2025 and 6-0 in Como in January 2026.
  • Como's 6-0 win in January was the biggest win and the highest-scoring game in this fixture. Torino have won only one of the six Serie A meetings since 1994/95 (D1 L4).
  • Torino's one win came at home, 1-0 in October 2024. They have scored in only two of the six meetings.
  • Torino have won three in a row (2-1 v Udinese, 3-0 at Parma, 3-2 v Monza) and are unbeaten in four.
  • Torino have conceded in nine consecutive home Serie A games, going back to 13 March 2026.
  • Torino's matches have averaged 3.0 goals this season (24 in eight).
  • Como are fifth with 17 points (W5 D2 L1) – their best start after eight games in any of their four Serie A seasons since 1994/95 (previous best: 13 in 2025/26).
  • Como have won their last two (3-1 at Fiorentina, 2-0 v Sassuolo) and have only lost once all season, 0-2 at Frosinone.
  • Como have won three of their five away games this season (D1 L1) and have won six of their last ten Serie A away games (D2 L2), scoring 18.
  • Como have conceded seven goals in eight games, the joint-third best record in the division, but have conceded in six consecutive away games.
  • Torino have won only one of their eight Serie A games on a Tuesday (D3 L4).

Torino vs Como prediction

Former AC Milan right-back Ignazio Abate took charge of Torino in the summer and he has massively improved the hosts as the season gone on – especially with a bit more efficiency and effectiveness in the final third. Como themselves are one of the more entertaining teams to watch in Europe and they appear to be solving their own profligacy and so both teams scoring seems a good bet for this one in Piedmont.

Torino vs Como tip: Both teams to score
