AC Milan preview: Solid start

Ruben Amorim has endured some woeful performances in the league phase of the UEFA Europa League with defeats to Benfica and AFC Bournemouth but they have remained steadily improving in Serie A.

The Rossoneri head into this one on the back of a comfortable 2-0 defeat of Udinese at the Bluenergy Stadium at the weekend, courtesy of goals in either half scored by Christian Pulisic and Omari Hutchinson.

Bologna preview: Big win at the weekend

Having endured a tough start to the campaign following the surprise appointment of former Schalke and Belgium boss Domenico Tedesco, Bologna earned themselves a much-needed victory at the weekend.

At the Unipol Demus in Sardinia against a Cagliari side that have been strong at the start of this season, Bologna earned themselves a 2-0 win with second half goals scored by Nicolo Casale and Federico Bernadeschi.

AC Milan vs Bologna prediction

AC Milan have been steady so far this season in Serie A; so much so they remain unbeaten after eight matches with victories and three draws thus far. Bologna head to the Giuseppe Meeazza in reasonable form either side of the international break and it has been much-improved after the appointment of Tedesco over the summer, albeit with his conservative tendencies now taking hold. Milan remain the team to be sided with in a likely low-scoring contest.

AC Milan vs Bologna tip: Double chance – AC Milan to win or draw & under 3.5 goals
