Inter Miami had been on a three-match winning streak for the Floridians before they succumbed to a comfortable 2-0 defeat to the New York Red Bulls at the weekend with a Casemiro own goal before an Emil Forsberg clincher.
Cincinnati, on the other hand, come into this one on the back of a 2-0 victory against DC United in the capital city at the weekend, making it back-to-back victories as they try and push themselves into the top seven in the Eastern Conference.
Cincinnati have found some form and Inter Miami have now fallen to third. The hosts have to remain favourites but it may not be a straightforward evening for the reigning MLS Cup winners.
