Tunisia vs Burkina Faso prediction

Tunisia come into this one on the back of back-to-back victories in African qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup during the March international break. They defeated Liberia by a goal to nil away from home before then easing past Malawi by two goals to nil at Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi, thanks to late-ish goals for the Tunisians.

Burkina Faso also enjoyed impressive victories and performances to increase their chances of appearing at next summer’s expanded 48-team tournament. They hammered a poor Djibouti side by four goals to one before then beating Guinea-Bissau by two goals to one at Estadio Nacional 24 de Setembro, thanks to a brace from Lassina Traore.

Tunisia are always one of the more defensive and reactive, lower scoring sides in CAF, whilst the Burkinabe’s have been entertaining so it is a clash of styles but in a game with little riding on it, the former’s style is expected to be the likeliest outcome.

Tunisia vs Burkina Faso tip: Under 2.5 goals
