Tottenham boast a 100% record in the Premier League at this early stage of the season, and they put that to the test against a dangerous Bournemouth side on Saturday.

Tottenham preview: Super start for the Frank Engine

It's been something of a dream start in the Premier League for Thomas Frank in the Spurs hotseat with his new side following their opening weekend victory over Burnley with an excellent 0-2 win against Man City at the Etihad - the second season in succession that they have beaten Pep Guardiola's side in Manchester.

Brennan Johnson and Joao Palhinha were on target against City, with the visitors riding their luck at times but ultimately keeping a second straight clean sheet.

Bournemouth preview: Cup exit

Another side who have started the league campaign in positive fashion, Bournemouth claimed their first win of the season by defeating Wolves at the Vitality Stadium last Saturday, with Marcus Tavernier's early goal enough to separate the sides.

The Cherries were eliminated from the EFL Cup on Tuesday though, with Premier League rivals Brentford scoring in each half to progress. Julian Araujo received his marching orders in injury time for Bournemouth.

Tottenham team news: Udogie available

Destiny Udogie has been passed fit to make the squad but Frank may stick with Djed Spence at left-back for now off the back of consecutive clean sheets.

New signing Xavi Simons is unlikely to be registered in time for inclusion in the matchday squad, but could be unveiled to the home fans prior to kick-off.

Predicted XI (4-3-3): Vicario; Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Spence; Sarr, Palhinha, Bentancur; Kudus, Richarlison, Johnson

Unavailable: Dragusin (Injured), Takai (Injured), Bissouma (Injured), Maddison (Injured), Kulusevski (Injured), Gil (Injured)

Questionable: Simons (Ineligible), Solomon (Fitness)

Bournemouth team news: Kluivert to start?

Justin Kluivert could start after featuring midweek, but Andoni Iraola may choose to play it cautiously with the Dutchman, who has been nursing a calf injury.

Julian Araujo is suspended on account of his midweek red card, while Lewis Cook has completed his own ban but a knee complaint will keep him out until after the international break.

Predicted XI (4-1-4-1): Petrovic; Smith, Diakite, Senesi, Truffert; Adams, Scott; Semenyo, Kluivert, Tavernier; Evanilson

Unavailable: Araujo (Suspended), Cook (Injured), Unal (Injured)

Tottenham vs Bournemouth prediction

It's been a confident start to the season for Tottenham, who have so far looked like a much more solid unit than they were under Ange Postecoglou.

Bournemouth, though, possess some genuine attacking talent with the likes of Antoine Semenyo and Evanilson, and with Justin Kluivert - so impressive last season - edging back to full fitness, they are capable of troubling the hosts' rearguard.

This has all the makings of an entertaining encounter between two exciting teams, so over 2.5 goals is certainly worth a look.

Tottenham vs Bournemouth tip: Over 2.5 goals
