Thailand vs India prediction
Thailand come into this one on the back of a slender 1-0 defeat of Sri Lanka in their first game of the third round of AFC qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup during the March international break to back up their 2-0 defeat of Afghanistan a few days earlier. They have now suffered just three defeats in their last 15 matches.
They now face an India side that are currently ranked 127th in the world with Barcelona-born former Las Palmas coach Manolo Marquez at the helm. They most recently shared a goalless draw with Bangladesh in March to mean that they are now unbeaten in their last five matches but they do generally remain an average side.
The Indians are improving, particularly defensively and in terms of controlling opposition, so whilst Thailand are favourites, especially at home, it is unlikely to be a thriller for the neutral.
Thailand vs India tip: Thailand to win & under 3.5 goals
