Suriname vs Puerto Rico prediction

Suriname most recently defeated Martinique by two goals to nil on aggregate, with a couple of 1-0 victories, during the March international break to qualify for this summer’s CONCACAF Gold Cup. The Surinamese have suffered just three defeats in their last 13 matches, with two of those losses coming against Canada in the quarter-finals of the CONCACAF Nations League.

They now face a Puerto Rico side that, under the management of English coach Charlie Trout, are currently ranked 157th in the world by FIFA. The so-called ‘Blue Hurricane’ come into this one on the back of a friendly against Nicaragua the other day that followed a three-match winless run of form.

The Puerto Ricans aren’t one of the weakest sides in North America but they are a side that Suriname, especially with their home advantage, should come out on top in this one.
